A chat app is the classic WebSocket project: one connection stays open and messages flow both ways. Rooms here are private (only people with the code can join), live-only (nothing is saved, so late joiners don't see earlier messages), and belong to whoever created them. The creator can remove people or close the room. This page is one possible client; build your own with new WebSocket(url).
